Hello guys,
My lowe's synch card reported on the 6th and then again now on the 22nd after I made a purchase on a promo.
They really threw me a curb ball with this out of the blue reporting.
I have a 15k limit and was using a mere $1500 of it and was reporting once a month. Last week I made a new purchase at lowe's for a big ticket item and they reported arbitrarily on the 22. I don't even show a due date any more.
So now I have a 7k balance reported on the 22, no due date and no idea of what will happen next in regards to my due date.
Will my dude date remain the same.
Will my closing statement date change?
Also, If I charge the card again with another purhcase, will this happen again. I am planning on a purchase before the end of the month, so I will have 3 reportings this month?
Is is possible for them to revert the reporting they did and stick to the original reporting date. I know this is fair game, but I was not aware of these rules from Synch lowe's
your due date and statement date will not be affected by these 2 report dates - they are unrelated
i think a lender could report every day if they wanted to - it is just usually monthly
chase reports when you pay a CC down to zero, regardless of when they had reported last
and i have heard of Sync doing this on many of their cards
just keep on your regular payment path
Synchrony likes to report multiple times a month on new cards. As well as reporting large purchases.
When I opened Verizon in June, they updated 3 times a month the first couple of months. Annoying, but planned for it.
