TRUECREDIT

Hi All,

I've signed up with Truecredit but I don't thinks its accurate at all when it comes to the reports. I know the scores are not accurate FICO scores, but what I should do when truecredit says oe account has improved? Should I keep spening 15.00 at My Fico to get the scores? I just did that on 7/2, then on 7/4  there was another update. I would hate to waste another 15.00. Is anyone else feeling this crunch???

Re: TRUECREDIT

So far for me TrueCredit has been unreliable. Not only are the scores FAKO, but they don't even go up and down to give me any indication of how something has affected my report. I had a 63 point increase on my TransUnion report and TrueCredit FAKO didn't budge at ALL! Not to mention the fact that I think they sold my information to a junk debt buyer.  I am cancelling as soon as my month is up. I don't want to cancel now and get shut out when I already paid for the month.

Re: TRUECREDIT

Truecredit should be to monitor your reports...you don't have to pull your FICO score EVERY time something has changed...but if you want to ge them every time somthing changes...you would have to pay for them...people usually purchase them when something major has changed...but even them your not guaranteed a score change...TC is a GOOD service...

CRA do have "services" that can alert CAs of significant changes in one's report. This is why you should be prepared when your start repairing your credit. They will come out of the woodwork.

Yep, I have found this out the hardway and then did some research on their "triggering" services/alerts that they provide to collections agencies!  Though I have been repairing for nearly a year and not until I signed up for TrueCredit have they come out of the woodwork. I doubt that is a coincidence. Especially since one of the junk debt CA gave me a "True reference #" to access my account with and pulled my TransUnion. Smiley Surprised

In any case. I think I have paid all my legit past debts. There really weren't that many with exception of a some small medical collections that piled up from a few surgeries and a lot of confusion with insurance on what to pay and what not to pay.  All paid now, and even scheduled to fall off in September. Woo hoo!!  Oh and few sold collections that were paid BEFORE the debts were sold. I don't know how they get away with this crap! Grrr!

Yes you do find yourself paying very close attention to your scores. Even though I recently had a few charges paid, I am also waiting to reports to relfect the charges that will fall off 07/08.
My TrueCredit report is a joke- it never updates and goes from extreme of really low to really how.  Its always a 25-30 pt diffrence to MYFico scores.
Yes, since I became a member this online forum has been very addictive. However, I know since joining that I cant increase the numbers by continuously obtaining the reports or just watching it.

Good luck-you will see the increase numbers once you decrease your utility, continue to pay ontime.
PS Stay away from credit sprees-they hurt!

Thanks Bridge. I did use the FICO coupon before but today they're not allowing it so I had to pay full price. It's expired.
