TU GW, it worked!

I think TU is having a change of heart...they have been pretty decent lately...I asked to have an older delinquent account deleted and they did...granted it was ready to drop off soon, (6 more months) but it is a plus right now.  I am getting ready to send my first PFD to a CA....Thank you everyone!!!

TU has always been good to me  Smiley Happy
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Re: TU GW, it worked!

You really sent a goodwill letter to a CRA? Isn't it against the law to delete things like that without cause?

I hope its not against the law, cause I surely did ask them to  delete a judgement thats falling off next year.....awaiting a response from them...

Re: TU GW, it worked!

I asked TU and EQ both to delete some things based off the fact they were due to fall off in a few months. EQ said they would initiate the process for me, contacting the OC to see if they would agree. TU pretty much said I needed to ask the OC myself.

Re: TU GW, it worked!

Bren-
maybe it wasn't an actual GW, wrong choice of abbreviations, it was more of I was disputing an account that shows a balance and also showed closed, and it wasnt closed...in the same letter i asked TU to delete a different account that is reaching 7 years...I don't think TU would have if it was not permitted....
