My understanding is that an inquiry stays on your report for 2 years. But to my surprise, every day i pull up new report, for past few days, and i see one less inquiry. So far, all of my following 2008 inquries are gone!
November 01, 2008 American Express
August 01, 2008 Toyota Motor Credit
July 25, 2008 Toyota Motor Credit
July 25, 2008 Westlexcorpora/Credcoims
July 11, 2008 Capital One Bank Usa Na
July 11, 2008 Washington Mutual Card S
June 26, 2008 Wachovia
June 19, 2008 Wachovia Bank Na
May 21, 2008 Wachovia
May 21, 2008 Wachovia
Is it normal?
Thanks,
Khawar
Just to give you background, I'm little obsessed with pulling all three reports everyday, so I used to have TrueCredit before it stopped doing it. After that I subscribed to National Identity Protect, Credit Check Total and Chase ID protection. I have all three of them active right now and I can pull daily from all three CRAs from all three services and all of them show same behavior. I only have two Inquiries left on TU out of 12 I had. I have 6 left on EQ from 14 I had and 7 left on EX out of 13 I had. So not sure what is going on here.
Thanks,
Khawar
hmm, so do you think its not *True* picture on file? i mean its just show them off but not actually off from my file? i did get the TU report from backdoor, i'll check it shortly to see if it has these inquiries.
Thanks,
Khawar
A problem?

This is actually a well know flaw with TU and to a lesser extent, EQ. EX does not have this problem. When pulling reports a lot inqs fall off of TU and EQ reports - aka - bumpage or bumping inqs.

This happened to me as well...However, yesterday they were all back and my FICO score dropped 8 points
I was going to say, sometimes they come back!
