Re: TU Revalation...

Is this true for all bureaus? I am not seeing the same thing. I have disputes with all 3 bureaus and changes are happening on my reports daily? I just got 3 alerts? Plus 2 of my scores just changed?

I am very confused by this post?

Re: TU Revalation...

I too am weirded out...I have been seeing tiny incremental jumps....have had two SW alerts but  I was so dissapointed that  my scores didnt shoot up from bringing my UTIL frm 103%  down to 21%...the accounts are reflecting  new blalances per my FICO and  my other sites, but the true full impact and update and score change wont happen til the end of the dispute date per TU, and I have called and talked to two sepereate people and asked the same exact questions and got the same answers....Im not sure about the other CRA's....wondering if I should jinx it and call them too

Sorry if I bummed anyone out  with this info.... just thought it was pertinent and relevant information...especially since I called back to verify if the original info I got was correct.

My apologies to any and all that were upset....I just though that this was great info fo those of us who are waiting for big changes that may have disputes still open with TU...and when you think about it, it kind of does make sense

if anyone wants the name and number of the TU contact...give me a PM and Ill share

Re: TU Revalation...

Actually, I'm not upset, I'm relieved.

EQ has gone up 107 points and TU was lagging.  EX hates me, I'm resigned to the fact.

At least I know that I should see significant bumps in a month.  I'll save at least 30 bucks not impulsively running TU scores.

yay

atlast...now, to learn some PATIENCE.  Anyone have a bit to spare?

Re: TU Revalation...

Love to share the patience...if I had any.....Smiley Very Happy

of course Id also have been better saving my $$ by not running new reports every few days to see changes that arent happening til the end of the month

TU loves me right now...EX only loves me just a tad bit more than the  bid bad EX....strange how each one of us has one CRA that favors us over the others....

Re: TU Revalation...

Really great info. Had no idea that is how it worked.   I wasted $$$ on pulling score during the dispute process.  You saved me from wasting more!

Thanks

Re: TU Revalation...

OK, also...another thing buggin me....myth or fact?

I have been told that when a CRA doesnt get a response  back from  a  CA or CCC for a a TL  that was indispute that  TU just deletes the entire account, not just the bad part that was being disputed..ie:  lates that werent...

anyone have any info on this potentially scary scenario?

Re: TU Revalation...

So I logged onto TU, I can't re-pull until 10:08AM tomorrow.  But, I'm up (yes, I know, Virginia, it's FAKO) 30 points from this morning.  What changed, checking the dispute page?  One of the five items in the dispute (clearly not my birthday, since birthday doesn't effect score, the others were ancient lates that were appearing in summary form in the past four years but were listed as more than four years old - I forgot) OR one or more of my UTI paydowns hit early.

So, it sounds like FICO doesn't update during a dispute (that would be giving information to Fair Isaac) but the internal scoring model IS run during a dispute.

I think I'll call the nice folks at TU in the AM.

Spooky stuff.  Someone needs to write a "Puzzle Palace" for the credit scoring industry!

atlast....just when I thought I had the answers, they changed the questions!

Re: TU Revalation...

I just repulled from TU tonight and my score went up 5 points due to 1 2+ yr old CA falling off.

Okay, here's the question. I have a ton of valid disputes in process and I thought TU said that it wouldn't update?

I sware this score thing needs to be fixed. It shouldn't be this hard to figure out.
