TU not showing DOFD?

My husbands CR from TU is not showing a drop off date, DOFD or anything.  From what i have read, it is supposed to correct?

There are fields for Account number, Condition, Balance, Limit, Terms, Opened, Reported, Responsibility, High Balance.

How do I knew what the drop off date is?  I apologize if this has been asked a million times before, I did a search but most say that it should state when it will drop off.

Re: TU not showing DOFD?

Not so much a field but at the end of it, it should say something like "Will remain on file until Sep 2010"

It shows nothing like that.  I have scoured and looked and had my husband scour.  Nothing.  Odd.

Re: TU not showing DOFD?

If you click dispute item or what ever it is called, it should bring up an entirely different CR.  Once that is up it should show how long it will remain on your CR.  At this point you can just get out of the report, you do not need to dispute anything.

Are you getting your reports from TU or somewhere else?

That one was directly from TU.  I will try that, thanks!

Ok, that did not work.  When I go to dispute it, it has me enter the account numbers individually, rather than like EQ where there is a "dispute" button/check box next to each item.  It does not open a new CR.

Re: TU not showing DOFD?

You may need to call the CRA to find out what the DOFD is.

You might find this helpful or not. If the TL is listed on Experian it should show date of removal. I have found from looking at other reports that TU might hold the TL on the report a couple of months longer than EX. Try that and see what you come up with.

Thanks.  I dont have his CR from EX or EQ.  I need to get one, but his EQ has locked him out and he needs to call and get a copy of that one.

Re: TU not showing DOFD?

Have you tried to get free copies of your reports from here:  https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp?  You are authorized to get one from each CRA annually.
