TU wont delete a bad inquiry

I have an inquiry from Elite recovery and sent a letter CMRR asking them to verify and what was their permissable purpose. The green card came back but no reply. I then sent all info to TU and asked them to remove the inquiry - as it obviously had no permissible purpose. TU says I need to have the CA send a letter to them requesting removal of the inquiry. How should I proceed?

CA's MAY have PP

They must be collecting on a valid account that originated in a credit transaction.

Disputing TU inquiries is not advisable.

Fraud alerts, split files, deletion of accounts in good standing.

The list goes on and on...

Re: TU wont delete a bad inquiry

I had this to happen as well. TransUnion is the only bureau that won't dispute inquiries. YOU
