So after months and months of fighting I am throwing in the towel. I am so tired of fighting and getting two steps ahead and falling 10 steps behind. I have gotten great advice from these forums. Especially HappyDays, Timothy, Sidewinder, MODS and all the others who have contributed to posting all sorts of letters. Thank you all for educating me on the things I didn't know. Well so long for know MAYBE I will be back in a few months. Thanks guys but for right now it just seems like added stress.

That's okay, just take a break for a while. It took me 9 months to get lates off my cr's, alot of tears, stress and sleepless nights but BAM out of nowhere the oc just called and is taking a bunch of lates off my reports! I know how your feel. I gw'd for months and got nowhere. It is very stressful, I know! Just remember that we are all here for each other. We'll still be here when you're ready to come back!

Dont ever give up credit is our future and we need it, like scrambling said take some time to recooperate and then join the fight again. Trust me i know it can be exhausting and frustrating all at the same time. Keep reading the forum so that your knowledge will be endless. Good Luck and never give up!

I took a break myself, now I am back and madder then I was before which adds more determination then before.

At first I was just out for deletions but if they keep acting stupid as they are I am going to go after violations.

Before you leave, you might want to go to the BK forum.  Many people here have had to spend years in trying to clean up their credit.  Just ask anyone who was in a DMP program or BK program about rock bottom and time.

Worst case for none BK would take 7 years to completely heal and even people who had to go BK still find light at the end of the tunnel.  Durring those 7 years or 10 in the case of BK, you can choose to fight or just wait it out.

Six months or even a year to clean up your credit.  That would be great but unrealistic.  What did you expect?

Even if you do nothing else but pay your biils on time, you can still learn here or even help someone else not to make the same mistakes that you did.

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but I have been rebuilding my credit on my own since I filed CH.7 in '02, It's hard work, especially if you are working, have kids, rebuilding your credit scores is like another FULL-TIME job. I have worked hard and stopped, however, when I stopped, I noticed the scores went down. Good Luck with whatever you decided, just check in to see if anything changes......

Dont Give up but do take a break i started in 2006 at 498 lol now 682 Im not going to say it was easy i was about to give up bc it seemed nothing was happening but then all of a sudden 2008 i got 1 message saying +140 so finally ! but take a break ...... Then we will be here for you! GL....
