Ok, I have disputed online with EX, Completed written disputes with EQ and TU and mailing tommorrow CMRRR. I have completed 2 DV's from collection letters I recently received and sending tommorrow CMRRR. I have completed 2 GW letters one to HFC and one to Chrysler Financial. If anything positive happens from this I will share the letters I have used. One other question I have is in order to DV do I need a current collection letter or can I just DV from the info on my CRA's?

either or. the thing is this- you might of just learn of this info on your cr, they dont know. the letter you have even if it's old it doesnt matter, how do they when you received it.  gl on everything keep us posted

Thanks Future, I will be sure to share my experiences as they come to me. I sent all the letters CMRRR today and the 2 GW letters so all I can do now is wait. Man CMRRR isn't cheap lol $5 per letter. Maybe I will try faxing next time lol

Just one small victory but thought I would let you know anyway. CA for DIRECTV POOF DELETED from TU and dtill waiting on the other 2 CRA's.

No it isn't cheap but what you get in return is worth it!   GG on Direct TV  Always use address from your CR  unless you get a letter from them.  Some move around & IF the post office can not deliever to the address on CR  they will delete.

Weird, Green card back from EQ today. Also got a complete investigation request form from EQ and giving me a confirmation # so that I can dispute online.

Enclosed is a copy of your EQ credit file. Please review it for any unauthorized accounts or inquiries. If unauthorized information is reporting on your EQ credit file, you may start an investigation immediately online at www.investigate.equifax.com  Using the internet to initiate an online investigation request will expedite the resolution of your concerns.

We have reviewed your concerns and our conclusions are: The disputed focus rec mana is not currently reporting on your credit file.

So they send me a form same day they get my green card and want me to submit dispute online? Seems weird also why did they investigate one of the accounts though and delete it.

Well that acct is also directv so I have got it removed from TU and EQ and now just waiting for EX to follow suit.

So I logged in with the confirmation# they gave me and looks like they started the investigation 2/7 (3 days after I sent the dispute CMRRR)

Estimated date investigation compeleted 03/07/2008

Hilarious! I got a green card finally back from TU today. Just yesterday I talked to the dispute center and they told me they never got it. They did not sign the green card all they did was stamp it with a TU stamp lol.

Also got last green card back I sent out which was to another CA, we will see what happens
