Re: Time for the Government to put an end to FICO

Oh!     And my passion for cash has been growing steadily over the past 5 years at least.. Just over the past year has it gone to 100%....Gave up buying that Chinese made crap at Wal-Mart also. I mean the Chinese stuff is garbage but Wal-Marts stuff is even WORSE...Looks like Target is going to get "blackballed" soon too.

I boycotted all stores like WalMart, Kmart, Target, Costco and etc a long time ago. I will never support "disaster" capitalism, same goes for big corporations who pay slave wages. No thanks!!!!!

I'm going the resist the urge to feed the troll anymore. The more logical you get with people like this, the more illogical they get in their responses.

Just know: I've never paid a cent of interest, I earn rewards and I don't spend any more on my cards than I would using cash. Whether you'll accept it or not, the fiscally responsible are better off using cards in today's world. Period.

Basically, our troll did a poor job of handling his finances, including his use of credit, but instead of learning from his errors and educating himself as to responsible and profitable use of credit, decided to find a scapegoat - a formula - to redirect his anger and embarrassment toward.

Overly simplistic types can drink the DR Kool-Aid if they like, but should get a clue that those of us with working brains won't be partaking.

I would have loved to see the carnage if this thread had been posted over on FatWallet Finance instead of here ... Smiley Happy

LMAO ...HaulingtheBULL up....I don't believe you do not pay ANY interest or fees...I was born at night pal, However not last night Smiley Happy

..If you have a house payment or a car payment  you are paying. I had factored in a car loan and a personal loan I took out for some of my rentals so I could keep my savings and investments intact  which was a mistake but at the time a L.O.C was just a phone call.

Im not going to play "split the hair" with an obvious paid PR mouthpiece like you ...The "rewards" you talk about are just an enticement to spend more. You do pay for them just indirectly... you are now, and will be in the future paying for all the defaults. Rewards are going away. Annual fees are being increased. I have noticed quite many "Sorry we no longer accept American Express or Master Card" signs hanging in merchants doors. Many are asking you to pay with a debit card only and activity offering discounts for cash. Before I switched car insurance even GEICO was asking you to make "pinless" debit payment for internet payments.

Things they are-a-changing....all credit cards say about you now is "Im willing to be charged more! but be careful Im a potential deadbeat".

Oh and to set the record clear the additional savings I got for cash was in addition to the $3600 we already negotiated down from the asking price by hinting this may be a cash deal...For many years I worked as a purchasing Agent for several large engineering companies around Pittsburgh.

Why do you find it necessary to start namecalling?

LOL, just my luck that the government does end FICO one day after my BofA derog falls my CR.

If the government decides to "tweak" the FICO score formula, we will see comments like this:

Your high CC balances and multiple late payments and voting preference have a postive effect on your FICO score.

I know.  I thought for once the OP would answer a direct question instead of side-stepping it with all the rubbish.
