Does anyone know how long a CRA has in which to disclose the contents of your credit file? (609(a) - not a dispute.)
Extra credit question:
Cite the passage from the FCRA. (I'm trying to site all my requests in this letter because EX is stating they don't have to provide this info!)
Thanks everyone!

Bump. No one knows how long they have to produce a DOFD/DOLA via CMRRR?
If you call and ask, they'll give you your DOFD (DOLA means nothing per repair). You can also find it on your own if the OC reports or if you keep records. If you have CR copies, then you can find it on there too.
FCRA 609(a)(1) specifies only that, upon request from a consumer, and under the provision that the consumer provide proof of identity under section 610(a)(1), and submit the requisite fee under section 612(f), "every consumer reporting agency shall..... clearly and accurately disclose to the consumer... all information in the consumer's file at the time of the request...." No specific time period is provided. I would only request in my 609(a)(1) letter that response be promptly provided.
611(7) mentions 15 days. Would that apply to 609 as well?
Thanks,

No, section 611(a)(7) relates only to a description of their method of verification of a dispute after a request from the consumer under section 611(a)(6)(B)(iii).
