TransUnion Seems Slow to Update...

So, I recently had a goodwill deletion request approved, and the derogatory credit account was removed from my report on both Experian (resulting in a 41-point increase to my credit score Smiley Very Happy) and Equifax (resulting in a 33-point increase Smiley Very Happy). However, TU is still showing the old account, and my score is languishing at 645. Is TU always slow to update or am I being a little too anxious? Smiley Frustrated

Re: TransUnion Seems Slow to Update...

In my experience, TU is always the last to update whether it be CC monthly updates or collection removal, typically about 2-3 days after EQ.

Re: TransUnion Seems Slow to Update...

I agree...  I have always found TU to be the very last CB to update pretty much anything on my accounts.  I usually find Experian to be the quickest.

Re: TransUnion Seems Slow to Update...

Confirm the other posters ... always find TU to take 7 to 10 days (more or less to) update monthly activity. As to handling "disputes," they have taken care of mine in 24 to 48 hours so go figure?
