Well after coming back from a trip, I received a letter that I am part of a class action suit of the "502 Letter", which means Transunion did not contact the company that requested the credit report, nor did not remove the notation (hard inquiry) that a consumer disputed that they did not authorize. I had an issue with Transunion for the same issue that dates back to June 2020 (Documented on the board as well) on an auto loan inquiry that was never authorized by me. Legal letters were sent to Transunion, dealership contacted and they even sent letter to TU. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that the hard inquiry was removed, interesting….
