Transunion (Creditkarma) not updated

I usually keep a track of my credit history using free tools such as creditkarma (CK) and creditsesame (CS).

I applied for a Costco True Earning card in store on Oct 25, 2013 and my CK showed a HP from Amex on Oct 25, 2013 on next update. My first statement on that card was generated on Nov 25, 2013. However, my CK profile updated yesterday shows no sign of that card.

Similarly, I asked for a CLI on my Discover IT card and my CL went from $750 to $4000 thru HP on Nov 13, 2013 and it was again visible on my CK profile. My Discover statement was generated on Nov 18, 2013.

However, up till my last weekly update of CK (yesterday, Dec 6, 2013), I see neither this CLI reported nor my Costco True Earning card. I have been usink CK for more than 6 months now and it always updates reasonabbly fast.

Any ideas on why are these two not reported yet?

Have you looked at a TU report from another source to know that the information has indeed been reported to TU?

I do not nay other means to check. I had already used TU trial earlier this year and my free annual report as well from annualcreditreport !!

Without looking at your TU report, we're just speculating whether Credit Karma is not updating, or whether the information isn't on your report.  If it's not on your TU report, it isn't going to show up on CK.

Without looking at your TU report, we're just speculating whether Credit Karma is not updating, or whether the information isn't on your report.  If it's not on your TU report, it isn't going to show up on CK.

Ya, I understand that. What I menat to ask why are they not reporting to TU. I do not think its anything to do with CK. I think they have not reported it to TU yet.

Amex can take a few months to appear sometimes.  Not sure about your CLI issue with Discover.  Or, it could be on your report and it really is a CK issue.

Hmmm....will see if it updates after genration of my statements this month.

Are these TLs reporting on CS, credit.com or Quizzle?  If they are, the issue is probably with CK

I would assume it is not a CK issue because I did a CLI on my BofA cards on 11/25 and my new CL was visible on CK on 12/01 already with the new balances on both of my BofA accounts...they did a mid cycle update to my surprise....also Barclays statement balance from 11/25 was visible on 12/01 ....tomorrow I can pull an new CK and will see if Discover has updated, statement cut was 12/03 ..but here I would be surprised if visible as this normally lacks behind for me.

edit: also on 11/25 I transferred 1K from my Chase Marriott to my Chase Freedom card. Equifax and Experian have the new CL of 5K but TU is still 4K... just as info.

My Quizzle report will be updated in about 15 days and CS does not give info on cards that I have.
