Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

They are banning people for possible "intent to tamper with the credit scoring system"

I don't understand what the problem is. If you pull daily, and get soft pulls, what difference does that make on your CR? Is TC terminiating because the pulls cost them more money and thus isn't cost effective, or does pulling daily have an effect on your credit scores? Can someone explain?

yup, me too. I haven't gotten the boot yet, but hearing about what others are going through makes me very distrustful.

Have any of those letters you wrote to TC gotten any responses? Tuscani? Hear anything?

Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

Again, I'm curious. For those who have had their accounts terminated-

1) Did you actually experience a Bump from your pulls?
2) Do you have an excessive # of Inqs on your reports?

With only 4 total Inqs & only 1 on TU, I could hardly be accused of playing the system.

1) Umm, ah, what do you mean? Smiley Wink

2) EX has 10 hard INQs. However, 3 are over a year old so they don't impact my FICO score. Of the remaining 7, because of de-duplication I only have 5 hard INQs.

Interestingly enough, I have 237 soft INQs on my EX some of which date back to 2002.

Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

They screwed up when they cancelled me. NEVER try to pull this crap on a journalist. Its already in the works to be picked up by the local station, and given the fact that I am in a major metro area, something like this is likely to get national attention very quickly. They are fixing to find themselves looking at a class action.... not so much for the TrueCredit issue, but for the full blown lockout from Trans Union online report. If TU offers it to one consumer, they have to offer it to all otherwise face FCRA violation.

Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

My letters have gone out already- TU, TC, FTC and my attorney.
They want to block me from TC- Fine (I have charged back the payments) but they can not block me from Trans Union- a SEPARATE COMPANY.

I am demanding $1000 per day for "Willful non-compliance" per 616 and 617 of FCRA.
