Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

Add me to your list. I was told by TC's CS dep't I will not be able to pull my reports until an investigation is completed in about 3 or 4 days. The results of which will be emailed to me. One good thing did happen though. My CC was charged yesterday and they offered me a full refund without asking. Bye bye TC I don't need you, as an Amex card holder I have CreditSecure which is just as good!

Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

so, let me get this straight...because of the shortsightedness for the CRAs in laying out their file structure and not allowing for a large number of "soft inquiries" that are cause by a product that one(or more) of the CRAs itself sells, they are terminating customer accounts without any real proof that anyone is doing anything in the slightest unethical?

Umm, sounds like class action lawsuit time to me....

If they do this to me, I'm going to tell them I want my money back for the last year and a half.

Kevin

I have seen rather substantial class actions for lesser causes. From where I sit, TC is playing with fire here.

Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

It seems to me that for whatever excuse they are using to terminate consumers for "Excessive Use" according to their policies, they are in my own opinion (I know there is a short cut for this, sorry), also violating our rights.

Now TC from what my dw and I have read is basically saying you cannot check on your own report(s) daily, excuse me, "update every 24 hours" because if you do, we will terminate your account for Excessive Use.  Hello, what is wrong with this picture.  We gave some corporation/company our hard earned money and trust and now, we are out ...... (fill in what ever your want to).

My dw and I respect a lot of the people here and thank everyone here for helping us to learn about how important our credit is to us, and how to take care of it, and how not to abuse it. It pains us to see this kind of (sorry, I cannot come up with a better word) politics involved with such a great cause and forum site.

Therefore, my dw and I have decided to cancel our membership (interesting word "membership") with TC.  We all work very hard for our money and have all made mistakes in the past, but when something like this happens, and we have a choice as to whether we want to continue giving TC our dollars every month, I say no thank you, I have a choice, remember this is the USA.

Please excuse the long message, I just had to vent!  My comments are generally not this long.  Sorry again.

I expect my termination notice is en route. Fortunately, there are other choices.

Waiting for my "Credit Secure" Trial to finish.

I don't like how I does not lines my accounts-TC only had 1 account out of"alignment" and I was in the next row.

Oh well-

Gee Noah you missed the best alternative to TC. Chase Identity Protection for $11.99 monthly. Daily pulls like TC and it loads a heck of a lot faster too. Same basic engine.
