Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

So, again I ask, is there any other source for checking my credit that will give me scores and reports now that TC has banned me?

They are definitely feeling the losses.  I just checked out the TC site and backed out of it... I get an immediate auto-generated instant message from CRS Molly or something or other offering me a free 30 days.  I stare at it.  She then asks me to type hi to let her know I am there.

I gave no signs of life.  Too busy laughing.

Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

LOL!! Since I as not trying to committ fraud but make sure some things I had negotiated to be updated had been, I gave a call to that 'you have been suspended number for a dispute'.  Told them since I was obviously not trying to commit fraud and still ahd a few things to work out, they would be hearing from me often.  Gave me a report number and then CS for dispute for TU.

Tried to sell me a product over the phone.  I said well I wouldn't be calling you if TC hadn't accused me of fraud', She says 'We are NOT TC'. I said, 'So can you tell me WHY my TU account is locked?'.... Silence.  Here you can get all the free reports you want... no that I would do anything like call for a free report daily at no charge.

Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

Guess what:

I too have been terminated from truecredit.com because of excessive inquiries.  Can you believe this???  I check my own report, and they say it's too much, even though their product selling point is the very fact that you CAN check your score and report anytime you want !!

I constantly stay on top of my credit report and scores for various reason, who are they to say that I pull up my OWN report too many times?  I have never seen anything like this......EVER !!

This is what they email me:

You recently contacted our Customer Service department in regard to our notification that your TrueCredit membership and billing was being frozen due to excessive access to your account. As our customer service team communicated, our Compliance Department has reviewed your account in order to see if you qualified for reinstatement.

After a thorough investigation, it is our conclusion that your account should not be reinstated due to an access pattern which indicates potential fraud or a deliberate intent to tamper with the credit scoring system. Your access, billing and all account related email alerts have now permanently been terminated as a result.

While we regret any inconvenience this may cause you, it is our policy to protect the security and integrity of the credit reporting system.

TrueCredit Legal and Compliance Department

Can you believe the  "" on these guys??  I filed a consumer affairs, Better Business Bureau, and Federal Trade Commission complaint on them, and count me in on any class action suit !!

As of today, truecredit.com is still using the words "every day if you want" and "unlimited access" right there on the front page.
