Believe or not, this jump in my scores came from paying down 2 subprime CCs. I have 2 First Premier cards, one with a $300 limit, and the other with a $350 limit. I made extra payments right after 3/24 and brought utilization down from 86% to about 7%. If it hadn't been for coming to this site, I never would have realized how important utilization is, even with low limit cards!
