Truecredit Problems

So I just signed up for TC and now when I go to try and look at my credit reports or bascially do anything on the website it goes to an error page and says they must be experiencing technical difficulties.  They have already charged my credit card the $14.95 and I can't get access to anything.  Does this happen a lot?  I kind of feel like I've been scammed.

Bump...anybody else have the above mentioned problems with Truecredit?  Is it even worth the money?

Re: Truecredit Problems

You'll find plenty of stories in here about problems with TC. I too had problems in the past (pull today OK) and would close my internet browser. I would then reopen and clear out the cookies, history, temp. internet files, etc. and close the browser again. Then I would reopen and TC would work OK. I had maybe 6 or so episodes like that and doing that helped all but one time. Got the same message and nothing worked. After 2-3 days, it finally worked.

Re: Truecredit Problems

I have TC and only have trouble usually once or twice a year. They are a site just like anyother and can have tech trouble.

Re: Truecredit Problems

Thank you for the information.  I am still not able to view my credit reports as the "We're sorry" page keeps coming up.  I will contact CS tonight.

Re: Truecredit Problems

Called CS tonight and they had me verify some information that would be on my CR.  Was told the reasoning for the "Error" message was for security reasons and that I had to verify my identify before I could view my reports.  Why don't they just say that?  Why give me a message that says their website is have "technical problems" and to try back in a hour?

The only problem I'm having right now is that "alerts" that have been showing for 4 days are still showing as "alerts."

As far as I can tell, never.  Mine still shows all the alerts I've received since I signed up in Sep. 2007.

Re: Truecredit Problems

At least your showing alerts.  I have had two new positive TLs added (Crown Jewelers and the new SL since I just got out of rehab on the old) and I never received any alerts  for either.
