Re: UP!!!

I decided to really get pro-active about my scores.

I've got a few new inquiries (one from Cingular one from Capital One Auto Finance and one from Bank one) that I just got finished disputing. Again, I just want them to prove I authorized the inquiries. Once that happens and that 1 late payment goes away, I'm hoping for the 760 to 800 range!

Re: UP!!!

Are you disputing the inquiries with the creditors or the CRA's themselves?  I just sent off a list of inquiries to the CRA's that I would like them to "prove" I requested or kindly delete.

Very nice! Did you achieve these scores ethically or unethically?Smiley Tongue

Re: UP!!!

Let's see.....

The inquiries... I disputed them directly with the CRA's. Doesn't do much good to ask the creditors to remove inquiries.

ETHICS? When it comes to the CRAs, I have no ethics. Sure, I can justify what I did ethically. But, when it comes down to it....WHO CARES?

THEY'RE GONE!!

Just FYI:
Applied for online, and was approved for a CHASE "Stars and Stripes" CC with a $2500.00 limit. No annual fee. 0% interest for the first year.

YAY!!

Now, use that card to help my score even more. I'll take that card and pay my car note and insurance every month. Then pay the card every month.

HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE!

As far as the info on the officer at CAP ONE....I'll be happy to give his name, phone number and ext. once they clear up the late payment.

Re: UP!!!

Hi there, I was wondering how you went about disputing the inquiries with the CRA. Do you have an example of the letter you sent them. Or did you do it online and if so what type of wording did you use. Sincerly lost2007
