US Bank Website Credit Reporting

Found that US Bank has added a Credit Reporting format to the website with a score on the first landing page. It is Transunion.

It's a vs3 score, not fico.

Yeah, found that out after the hassle of setting it up that it's the same TU Vantage 3 score I get from CK & Cap One.

And speaking of US Bank reporting, having gotten a US Banking Checking and Cash+ CC in March I've found out two things:

1- When you setup your Cash+ 5% & 2% categories on a new card it takes a day for those to take effect. I set my categories on March 10 for Utilities 5% and then promptly paid my electric bill. They only gave me 1% rewards, when I complained they claimed the electric bill charge was made on March 10 while my 5% category didn't take effect until March 11. Smiley Frustrated

2- While my Cash+ statement is on the 27th they don't report that, they report whatever the balance happens to be at the end of the month. Smiley Frustrated

Disappointed in US Bank/Cash+ so far. But then the $300 checking account SUB, $150 Cash+ SUB, and Savings account $50 SUB June 30 do soften the disappointment a bit. Smiley Wink

Interesting! Going way back, I thought (likely incorrectly) that they retroed category sign ups to the beginning of the reporting period. However, I cannot produce anything in writing so stating so maybe I made and errorneous assumption! Smiley Frustrated Note originially had the USB Cash+ back to Octber 2012.

You would think that selecting reward categories would be retroactive to the begining of the quarter. But the rep I spoke to created a ticket on my complaint of only getting 1% for my electric bill and they actually mailed a letter claiming the charge was made on 3/10 while my selection of categories, which I made on 3/10, didn't take effect until 3/11. And I noticed that when I made my category selection on 3/29 for April-June it didn't show up until a day or so. Maybe they changed things more recently?
