USAA credit monitoring service and it's reliability

I just signed up for USAA credit monitoring.  It seemed to be the best way to pull daily reports (or reports as needed).  The CSR was super nice.  I just pulled my DW's and saw that  the account that had the baddie (lates) on was reporting (accoring to USAA) as clean on Equifax and TU.  So, I pulled myFico EQ PowerScore and....  oops.  It's still there.  Is it a timing issue or is USAA not reporting correctly?

I did get a e-mail from Cap One that they are looking into the baddie yesterday..  so i guess it could be timing.  But, pulling a CR is kind of a instantaneous thing isn't it?  It dimnishes the value of the service if it doens't report correctly Smiley Sad   BTW it's a 60 day late and 30 day lates from 4-5 year ago on Cap One.

I've never had a problem with USAA. Are you saying that the baddie is gone on the USAA pull but not gone on the myFico pull? If so, I would say the USAA pull is correct since it shows a change. I would be asking about the reliability of the myFico pull actually.

Starting Score: EQ = 550; TU = 491(2/10/12)
Current Score: EQ = 669; TU = 674(6/20/14)
Goal Score: 700+

That is exactly what I'm saying.  late payment is gone on USAA pull (although detailed history on) USAA deosn't go back far enough.   But, it doens't have the note that they is a 60 day late on USAA Equifact nor Experian pull.

However, Pull from Experian and myFico (EQ) still shows the late.

I had the same thing happen. I had sent GW letters out, signed up for USAA CMS, checked reports from there about 2 weeks after the GW letters and ..... lates I was concerned about weren't there (not even in the comment area - just said "paid/paying as agreed".  A bit OCD, I pulled EQ from EQ and they were still there. Smiley Sad Methinks it may not be the best monitoring service to see if lates drop off; maybe only if an entire TL is deleted?

Yep, EX showed the lates, not EQ or TU. I even pulled myFICO EQ as well as EQ from EQ. Lates showing on both those EQs, just not USAA pull.

Re: USAA credit monitoring service and it's reliability

Another note regarding USAA credit monitoring.  Hopefully, this is useful to someone instead of being just a complaint.

I recently applied and got a Walmart Discover card.  This resulted ina TU inquiry and new account showing up.

The CRs pulled from USAA correctly shows the TU inquiry and new Walmart account showing up on all three reports.

HOWEVER, I only recieved alerts for new account for EQ, EX.  No alert was generated in TU neither for the hard inquiry nor for the new account being listed.  FYI
