Unauthorized INQ's

I just got back from vacation-

Pulled my True Credit report and there are 2 new INQ's on Equifax

1 for ECHOSTAR and one for DIRECTV-AV on 7/17/07

Tried calling them directly - to no avail

I now put a Fraud alert on all 3 CR's

What else can I do? Do I need to sue them for non-PP?

Luckily you can dispute them directly with Equifax.  You'll need a file number, so you need to get a free Equifax report.  Then just call and speak to a customer service rep.  I did and it doesn't even appear that they call to check.  I got a letter from Equifax in three days saying they were removed.

2 INQ's cost me 19 points. Screw the letter I am gonna sue em.

I tried to get some $ out of them.....did not push too hard but made their CEO's know how little tracking thay have on this stuff.

I called EQ today and they were deleted in a matter of hours.
