Chase says I have no authorized user accounts but when I spoke to TransUnion they say I do. TU says they are doing a 30 day investigation about it but that doesn't solve the issue that someone opened authorized user cards at Chase.
Is this something I have to go after Chase about because if Chase reports this to TU then it must be someone there has access to this information? My 3 credit files are frozen but I had a temporary thaw to apply for another card.
It's a glitch that has occurred because the card issuer was renamed from Chase Card Services to JPMCB - CARD SERVICE (which is still Chase). Nothing to worry about. As far as I'm aware, these erroneous alerts are confined to just Credit Karma and Credit Sesame. See this thread for additional instances where this happened: Did anyone get alert Chase card changed

I've seen the JPMCB update across all reports at this point. It's not confined to CK or any othe rmontioring service. There was a backend update to make things uniform across all accounts past/present.
However if you spot an actual new account on a full report then you should notify someone but, otherwise it's just the name of the creditor updating how they show up on the report.

Neither of my paid credit monitoring services - MyFICO and Experian CreditWatch Premium - have any such changes as of today; and I trust them to get it right. Someone has speculated that monitoring services that use VantageScore v3 are showing the change but as far as I can tell from scouring the 'Net the reporting change has only occurred on CK and CS while its possible that other VS v3 sites also have it.
The main thing is the # of accounts matches and it's only cosmetic.
