Updating address on credit report, how to go about it.

I noticed my TU credit report has a typo in my address (missing the direction), so technically the address on my file doesn't exist.  Would I be best to actually file a dispute in this case, or would a phone call to TU be a better way to go?

Would they still require I fax in information, even though I'm literally just adding one letter onto my address/fixing a typo?

I know it's not too big of a deal, but it's something that definitely annoys me, and I would like to have it fixed.

I had this same situation, I just called them up and they asked me to mail or fax proof of residency, I did that and they corrected it pretty quickly.
