I check all 3 reports this morning and my us cash back visa has not up dated yet still showing last month balance. I did pay balance to 0 . This is first time I have seen Us bank be late reporting.
Just curious, where are you checking your reports?
I believe they have 3 months to post. This happened to me with Samsung Finance. Because they are listed as revolving and I financed a tablet my utilization went way up when they posted me... even though technically it's s finance not an actual cc. Took them 2 months to post my new balance of $299 out of $1200. I don't believe they have to report every month. Maybe their way if saving time and money. I am sure others can give you better insight.
Correction... I goggled it and found this...
US Bank and Elan Financial credit cards report your balances as of the last business day of each month, rather than your statement date balances like other cards do.
Most likely, during this week you will see your US Bank card's reported balance update to whatever it was on January 31st.
If you want to manipulate reported balances on these cards, you can make a payment on the last business day of the month and it will lower your reported balance appropriately.
Yes you should see US Bank reporting this week. Mine also have December balances, but they report your balances that are present on the last day of the month. So if they reported Jan 31st, you will see the results this week.
Hi, do you know how many days does it take to actually show the updated balance on the report? My credit report still shows April balance and I need to have the updated balance to increase my fico for the mortgage.

US Bank reports the balance as of the last business day of the month. For May, the last business day would have been Friday the 31st. Afterwards, you can generally expect each of the 3 main credit bureaus to receive and update the data within the following several days. So, if they haven't already updated, I would expect to see the May information to start appearing within the next few days.

Honestly I do this a couple of days BEFORE the last day of the month so the payment posts in time. I do this all the time with my Altitude Go.
