Guys, we just closed on our first house two weeks ago, yaayyy.
Now we want to sign up for paytv and looking at all the companies that serve our area, ask for a SSN.
Xfinity/Direct TV asks for the full SSN, while Dish just asks for the last 4 digits.
Are these hard pulls or soft pull?
Direct TV chat person says its a soft pull.
Can somone confirm this?
Thanks
Anyone?

I have no specific experience with those two but I would assume HPs no matter what a CSR says.
No worries, which brings me onto my next question.
If I apply for either dish/direct tv for satellite and cmcast for internet, on the same day, there would be two HP on the day of joining them.
Will this be seen as one HP or two seperate HP's?
Thanks

Two separate inquiries. Only auto and mortgage inquiries are grouped together for scoring and those still show as separate inquiries.
OP, I have removed your duplicate post on this subject. Please refrain from cross posting the same topic in the future, thanks for your understanding and have a great day
Iny expiration is a hit and miss. Sometimes they are hp (Dish was a hp in 2010 when I got it) Sometimes they are sp, others no pull at all, and don't trust the rep I asked what kind of pull was and they normally would lie and say sp or no pull, and they do a hp, they are sellers and meed to meet their quote, don't care , about if you don't want a hp. If that's an obstacle they will lie if possible.
