I have 12 Credit Cards with a total credit line of $17,950. I am an authorized user on another account that has a limit of $3,000 giving me a total of $20,950.
12 cards have a total balance of $1,596
AU card has a balance of $2,834
Total: $4,430
My utilization is at 21% taking into all 13 cards and this matches what my credit reports have, all the math works out perfectly.
What I cannot figure out is when I use the score simulator on myfico and Experian to see how my score would be affected it only takes the $1,596 into consideration.
Pay down 66 of your total revolving/open account balances of 1,596 every month for 24 months....
Has anyone experienced this before or anything similar?

AU accounts are not always considered by scoring models and creditors. Don't rely on them. You need to build your own tradelines.
Given the revolving utilization on that AU card you don't want it factored in. 94% is maxed. You may want to get yourself removed and ensure that it is removed from your reports for cases where it is considered.
Seems like you are corerect.. I had a family member open this account so I could consildate not knowing that I did not need to be an AU to transfer balances. I am going to remove myself since I do not need it to be on my report I plan on paying it off soon anyway, I just was curious as to why it wasnt factored in to simulators but it is factored for utilization.
