No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I've recently started having credit, i'm wondering about utilization on my credit report.
When cards are reported with utilization, is each individual card used for utlization, say if i used 30% on each of them, are they each used as 30% or are they combined together and made into a large percent with a lower utilization percentage?
Anyone explain that?
UTIL is scored both for individual accounts and as a whole. So, at 30% each card will be scored at 30% UTIL, and then your total UTIL will also be assessed and scored.

Welcome to the forums!
Both individual and combined utilization are taken into account, and maxing individual cards is a no-no.

Not a good example as 30% utilization on two cards (assuming no other cards to factor in) is also going to be 30% overall utilization. However, as stated above, both indivudual and overall utilization matter anyway.
