VERY, VERY CONFUSED SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!

I am desperately trying to repair my credit my score just fell 71 points (ouch) because I deputed things that were not mine. There were phone service at addresses I never lived at and there are 3 other addresses on my CR that are not mine. Others I think I want to send PFD letters but I'm not sure if I should. I read up on SOL in CT and I believe it is 6 years unless it was an oral agreement then it's 3 years. I have things past 6 years some will be reaching 7 years within the next 6-12 months. When does the time really start DOFD, DOLA, date first reported, date is was opened? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.

You really need to research identity theft.  Try the site below as a start, lots of good advice there.

Oh gosh gal, I'd be in a tizzy if that happened to me!

DO NOT pay anything or offer to pay any of those, until it's verified that those are really yours.

Pull your credit reports from all 3 CRA's and compare. Any creditors not yours?

Re: VERY, VERY CONFUSED SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!

Well I found out that one address was where a relative lived and got a phone under my name and the other address belonged to one of her friends, so now I really don't know what to do.  Do I do a DV and fight it?  Is identity theft the way to go?  Just not sure on how to do much of anything on my report.

There are a few things that will be reaching SOL within the next year so i'm guessing let them age.  Others that will be there for the next 2-3 years are small amounts so I figure I would do PFD.  Just one question my daughter has her car in my name and now owes taxes ( not to much ) if I pay do they removed automatically or should I PFD those as well. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance for all those giving advice I will keep you posted on my progress.
