How is it that I have lived here all my life...paid on time...didn't abuse credit and I got a card from the same bank as my hubby but his credit limit is almost double mine. His credentials...from Canada...no credit experience here....has debt already.
Why the difference?

Did he request it and you didn't?
Which lender? Income and use of the card could matter as well not only scores.
He didn't ask for anything...they gave us both a card when we opened an account there.
Canada does not do FICO scores or credit reporting at all.
He was unemployed...I was not. I came to TX already employed....he came from Canada unemployed.
Neither of us had used the cards since they were just issued to us at the same time.
Lender: Chase
Amounts deposited was both of ours and in a joint account. To top it off he got a credit increase while still unemployed.
Should I ask them why and insist on a credit increase? Will they decrease his...don't want that? How will it affect my credit score if limit is increased?
I pay off all credit cards immediately for both of us.
Honestly wondering if it was all because he is a man and I am a woman...a very upset woman...lol.
Damn chauvinistic computers....
Laughing on the outside....very po on the inside...lol

Maybe the UW is a woman, and looked up your hubby on instagram, fb, or whatever damn thing out there, and thought he was cute?
