Walmart card reporting on CR question.

I have a Walmart CC in my drawer and I looked on my CR and in the Satisfactory accounts section it shows the Walmart card reporting all the way up to this month, but the account has been closed since 2009?  I am confused.  So is the account closed but just reporting still? Is that how that works? I don't know how satisfactory accounts work on the CR.

This could be something to do with the switch from GE to Syncrony Bank. You could try to call the Credit Dept, but I do not think they will talk credit report over the phone. Wish I could help more

Honestly, I would leave it be...

It's for certain not hurting you, and potentially only helping you! Might even keep the card on your CR longer for added history in the future.

I know its not hurting me but was just curious why its reporting every month if it says "closed". I wonder if the account is really closed or open. I don't remember closing it. I may call them and ask i suppose thats the best thing to do.

One of my closed store card-bestbuy reported until last December. It was closed sometime in 2010. If its showing up closed date in all r3 eports , i wont worry about it. More time it reports the fall date gets pushed. If you like to get rid of it, send a mail to the address or call them up.
