Never have had a late payment or a collection. I always pay who I owe. Not sure who is "trying" to sue me.
Read top left under their name and address.
Mmm advertisement? So they send these just to advertise? That's rude.
That's my consumer debt attorney. If they're sending you a letter, it's because someone filed a lawsuit against you. Search your local area courts online to find the case number.
They would go in my ahole category.
Not that I would like to waste my time, but they would have already wasted it if I read it.
I personally would spend my precious time calling them up and wasting THEIR time.
To me, that would be nice.
Speed dial that number all the time lol
Or at least, someone sued someone whose personal info is close to yours.

When I got their ad, I actually got a week lead time on Portfolio trying to serve me. Had They not sent the ad, I wouldn't have known until the sheriff showed up. They may be ambulance chasers, but theyre legit.

That's the thing. I don't owe anyone anything. I have never not paid. I'm super OCD and I'm only 22 so it's not like I have a super long history of possible debt.

Then it's probably a mix up. If you're name is Mike Jones, who knows how many live in your area. Fact is, they dont just send those out to everyone. They have a team that goes through the recently filed lawsuits and if it falls under consumer protection, they mail a letter. Can be an annoyance, but they saved me the embarrassment of a surprise. In addition, my letter was labeled an advertisement, but they did put my lawsuit info at the top of the letter so it was easily verifiable.
Mistakes happen. I once got blacklisted from Sears for a bankruptcy I never filed. I would still search county records just to be on the safe side. For all you know, a collection agency is trying to sue you for a debt that belongs to someone else.
