So does this basically mean that they are denying me my GW. It doesnt seem that their update will include any new info/remove any bad info. What would you guys recommend be my next step? DV? Thanks!

Is what they will report about being closed, settled in full, but for less than the full amount, and has a zero balance correct? If so, then send another GW. And then another. And then another. Reword it each time, but keep sending. If this happened, then it happened. You're just asking them for goodwill, aka mercy.

If they are now reporting something incorrectly, I apologize, I didn't catch that.

Re: Weird response from Chase for GW letter

Repetition is key in sending letters.

Try different addresses.

Rewording.

Just keep trying until you reach a set of eyes with sympathy.
