I received a free Credit Score for having my Bank accounts set up at Wells Fargo...I tried it out, and it gave me a Vantgage score of 741. Is Vantage a credible score? Is a Vantage score anything important?

While Vantagescore isn't a "FICO" model, it is used by some lenders. I know chase has been known to use it rarely.
It ranged from 500-990 I believe. You can also get it for free from creditkarma, but it is not a scoring model used by most lenders.
Vantage score is a FAKO score, lenders don't use it.. I've a trick that in my experience has worked or came really close- TAKE YOUR VANTAGE SCORE AND MULTIPLY IT BY 0.86 TO GET YOUR FICO SCORE

That was VantageScore 2.0.
VS 3.0 uses the same scale as FICO-300-850.

There are a few lenders, like Chase, who use the VS.
When I got my Free Vantage Score today, the scale was from 300 to 850....and it said it was Vantage 3.0

Well my Vantage 3.0 score is 741.......My Transunion Fico is 767 and Equifax is 741 and last time I checked my Experian score of 658 was last February, so your 0.86 formula is way, way off.

Different scoring models don't just have fixed offsets or multipliers. My TU 08 is higher than my TU VantageScore so your trick wouldn't work at all. You can't use one scoring model to determine the score generated by an entirely different model no matter what tricks you use. The algorithms are different.
