Hey everyone! Just wanted to throw this question out there, see if anybody has stayed up past midnight on the day something has fallen off or a balance reports. Otherwise I guess I'll be the first person on this forum to do it.
What time (preferably in EST) will EX drop off a credit inquiry? I got one coming off tomorrow, and would like to know what time of the day it does that! This will help me decide on a CC application I am doing on Wednesday, since another inquiry will age to the one year mark that day as well
Thanks everyone!
I don't think EX is that precise.
What I found is if an inquiry is scheduled to fall off on August 5th is is still there until September and you can't count on it falling off on the first day of the month either.
With EX, you have to have patience. . . .
Good luck

Thanks, Scuba! If this holds true, I might just wind up apping tomorrow morning then. At that point, it's not worth the waiting.
Thank you for your advice!

Don't have a specific answer, but based on some experiences with some banks and other institutions that still use mainframe and mini-mainframe computers, these systems are frequently set to update at 0200 or 0300 local time. I would speculate that, since they likely also use some form of mainframes, EX (and EQ and TU as well), likely have a set pattern and time for their updates, and it would not surprise me if it was something similar. This is just speculation though.

Do you absolutely HAVE to app? IMHO I think it's better to err on the side of caution than jump the gun and risk not getting what you want.
