What a Difference a Balance Can Make

I am always tweaking little things to see how my scores react and I have been slowly reducing my Accts with Balances (saving AZEO for the that time when a major purchase or app is in the future).

I have a total of 11 accounts.

Yesterday I had 5 accounts with balances.

Today I have 4 accounts with balances.

This is the (nice outcome) from reducing One Account with a balance.

Decreased Accts with balances from:

5/11 *45%*
to
4/11 *36%*

EXPERIAN DATA

ALL FICO 8s STAYED THE SAME

Can't tell about Trans and Eq yet but imagine some similar positive results.

Always a good feeling to see positive movements.

I have read a few posts where some people experienced a mortgage score point increase when AWB percentage dropped below 40% and I see my profile fit that statement even though I have seen more posts that state an increase comes when you have only 30% reporting balances.

That means I have one more balance to zero out (3/11) before I see that effect. (Probably by the end of NOV due to some variables in OCT that will impact that from happening).

Nice example how util affects your score. I will say the sooner you get to AZEO the less interest you'll have to pay. Take a drive on the highway and throw a dollar bill out the window at 70mph every mile. Are you going to stop and run back to get it? Nope. You wont see it again. If you have cash back cards and make money. Its lost when you pay interest. Let the banks pay you to use their cards. Dont pay the banks to use their cards. But thats just me.
