What are the Odds?

So here's the deal.  I have been successful at getting all the baddies removed from my credit except for three accounts. They are:
  1. Capitol One: Paid Charge off account from 03. GW last week sent Certified mail. Received confirmation that they got it yesterday.  I asked them to delete the account. I think I put up a pretty good case. Told them that I needed this gone to get a student loan to continue my education. I even stated their philanthropy mission which focuses on helping families with education.
  2. Capitol One: Paid Charge off account from 03. Same letter included this account too.GW last week sent Certified mail. Received confirmation that they got it yesterday.  I asked them to delete the account. I think I put up a pretty good case. Told them that I needed this gone to get a student loan to continue my education. I even stated their philanthropy mission which focuses on helping families with education.
  3. American General: Paid and closed. Reporting two 60 day lates.  GW the president a month ago and never got a response from them. Around the same time I had disputed with CRA and came back verified.

The only other problem I have is high UTI. Right now I am at about 74%.

Right now, my Fakos are at TU 617, EX 641, EQ 601

My questions are what do you think my chances are for Cap 1 deletes?

What do you think my scores will do if Cap1 deletes them?

What are my chances for getting a private student loan with them gone.  I applied in April and was denied because of the charge offs. I don't know how it works. If that was the only thing I was denied for or just the first thing that hit the system to deny me.

Re: What are the Odds?

Capital One IS NOT going to delete...they don't accept PFD..or GW...SORRY!!!..they are in the same boat as a couple more CCC's...that just won't give...you can always keep trying...and hope it falls in the hand of an understanding person...and by the way...

NEVER SEND A GW LETTER CMRR

Re: What are the Odds?

The utl is hurting your scores even more than the CO's-

Good luck with Capone-

Re: What are the Odds?

Ditto what Timothy said...a 20003 collection or charge-off really isn't hurting you that much. But your high UTI is probably costing you 50 to 70 points.

Check out my credit scoring guide for the full skinny on UTI and baddies, and then get your FICO scores. Those are the ones that matter.

Re: What are the Odds?

70 to 100 points-
10 to 15 points per 10% of UTL
