What causes this?

If my husband and I are on all of our accounts....on some I am the primary and on others he is the primary...why would his fico be 100 points higher than mine?  I'm baffled.

Re: What causes this?

First, where did the scores come from?

Second, are you saying that your two reports are identical? I think that would be the only time you'd have identical scores.

Same accounts, same dates, same # inquiries, same balances, etc....

Re: What causes this?

They are from either Experian or Equifax...thru our credit union.  Our credit union provides us with our fico scores each month.  I haven't pulled my husband's report yet....he just registered to receive his score this week.  Until he did that I just assumed his would be very close to mine since everything is basically in both our names.

I will pull his and compare it to mine.  I just find it surprising and thought it unusual.

Re: What causes this?

I would pull the both of yours free annual reports.

I would find it really suprising and unusual if they are identical.
