What credit monitoring service do you all use? (fico not fako)

What monitoring service gives the most bang for the buck? (fico not fako)

I am currently paying $9 per month for lifelock. I am thinking i'd rather allocate that money to a monthly credit monitoring service since I'm trying to repair and get my score back to the 700's.

It seems like a lot of members here are seeing their changes and monitoring quite closely. Thought I'd ask what service you're using...

thanks!

I think most of us on here use Truecredit.com.  It is ok, but they are only Fako scores.  However, you are able to monitor your credit report frequently.  My only issue with them is that they are very slow in updating.  I paid off a bunch of credit cards in January and they still haven't updated on TrueCredit.  But, when I had my credit pulled by a mortgage company a couple weeks ago, they were all updated.  Today I checked TC and they STILL aren't updated!

Did you by chance click the "Update my credit report" or "Update my score" links that are on the right hand side of the screen? I have always had up-to-date reports, but I have to click the link to update it, otherwise it never does.

I was banned from TC so now I'm using Chase ID Protection. Easy to use and it's only 11.99 a month.

I'm curious about this too.  I've been waiting for updates on different reports through TC, typically 1 of the 3 will have the update and the other two won't... I assumed it was because the CRA's are slow not TC - have you been updating your TC report daily?  I'm kinda tempted to pull one of mine here now and see if it's more up to date than TC is...

Truecredit or Chase are the big ones. The rest are not so good or over priced.

Have I been rejected as a TC customer?

I update daily but since 3/2/2008, I haven't been able to update. I click on the button and it simply routes me back to my 3/2 report.
