What date changes when an account is re-aged?

There seem to be several dates on each account and I have heard a lot here about accounts being re-aged. What date would change if the account is re-aged?

I have had some accounts that resulted in an 'updated' after disputing them recently and
I would like to be sure that they have not been re-aged. I see dates
that show 3/08 but I am not sure if that is just the last verified date
or a new date that I should be concerned about.

One account I disputed which was just on TU ended up on EX and EQ as well after the dispute. I would like to make sure that the age dates are still correct for those new entries.

any insights would be very appreciated.

The DOFD should never change that's what you need to look for. If it's just showing you when a CA updates (aka date reported) that's not the DOFD. CA's have a special line that shows when they update, that is not DOFD.

Sometimes they change the "last date of payment", which can affect SOL. Midland has done that even though I have never made any payments to them.
