What do I do?

I had a credit card with HSBC that was charged off and sent to a ca.  I did a PFD with the ca and they did remove the account off my reports but HSBC is still showing up and it looks like I have ignored them.  Is there any way to get this account off?

Re: What do I do?

If you've paid the CA, then they need to report back to HSBC that you have paid the account.  HSBC is then required to show a balance of $0.  However, they will stay on your CR, and probably as a paid collection.  Which doesn't help compaired to an unpaid collection, other than during a manual review.

But, you can still GW HSBC to death until they give in and delete it from your report.  Sincerely, good luck.

Aww, you read my mind, that was my next question to you.  I'll try that. Thanks again Smiley Wink

Re: What do I do?

At this point, imo, about the only thing you can do is to GW HSBC, IF the CA has informed HSBC that the debt has been satisfied.

Had this been mine, I would have made every attempt to deal with HSBC, instead of ca. Don't know if that would have been possible though. They are kind of finicky.

Re: What do I do?

Yeah, If I had found this forum in time, I probably would have dealt with HSBC.  I actually didn't do a PFD, it was just easier to type on my op.  I paid them before I found this forum and then gw'd them until they couldn't take it anymore and they just took it off Smiley Wink
