So I opened a Walmart Credit card around November 2012. After lurking around here I see that they offer a free Fico score every month it seems. So I checked it and my score is 683. Credit Karma is reporting 584... That's almost a 100 point difference.
Credit Karma's scores are not FICO. It's a FAKO.
CK's scores are garbage, just use it to monitor activity and you will be fine
Wal-Mart's score is an actual FICO score.
Walmart score is a FICO that no one uses.

Incorrect. TU98 (FICO you get here) is more of an educational score. TU 04 and TU08(walmart) are used by the lenders.

Really? my information is only gleaned from other repected contibuters here, and although TU98 is outdated it still seems to be more widely used then TU04 and TU08 is.

No, I think most agree that TU98 isn't really used. I thought that 08 wasn't widely adopted yet (so 04 is the winner) but LS2982 told me that that was no longer the case.
