I have 2 cards with them and I thought that they did reviews every 3 or 6 months. But, after looking at all of my credit reports, I see that they're doing soft pulls around the same time each month. The report goes back to October of last year. So, even with my two cards, I can't see why they'd happen to be in my report each month. Is this systematic? Do you know if it's a manual review? Any insight would be great.
Every month is normal for 99% of creditors since they report your balance they also SP your report at the same time to check for major changes,
They're checking for changes in your reports. Like if you started defaulting with anyone, or your utilization has started to shoot up, or you've dropped your payments to minimum. All computer generated and a few banks do it.

Are you signed up to get your Vantage score each month? If so, it could be related to that. I haven't looked too closely at my reports lately to see, but I know their credit wise alerts me for TU and EX.
*face palm* I use Credit Wise. This may be it. Thanks!
Most lenders soft pull you every month. The soft pulls say "account review". The only lender I have that does not soft pull me monthly is Comenity. They seem to soft pull only once every 6 months for me.

Yes, that's what Cap1's says. I was just interested in knowing how they actually review accounts. I imagined someone sitting at their desk going through my entire report.

If it's anything like most banks, it's mostly automated unless the computer flags something. At that point it might go to someone if there isn't a choice for the computer or it's something borderline.
