What is TU Interactive and why would they do an inq?

Sitting here this morning and started getting alerts. New inq on TU.  It's listed as TU Interactive. The strange thing is, my wife also got an alert for the same thing. I say strange because, my wife and I have totally separate financial profiles. Separate bank accounts and to my knowledge have never applied for a joint credit account at any point, let alone today or within the past few days. The only thing I can think of that we share would be that I'm an AU on her Wells Fargo Visa. Of course, we also have the common tax return each year.

Do you subsribe to TU monitoring.  I do and they did this to me today too!  It updates every day so this better not be daily HP!

I called in and they said they are "working on it."

Do you subsribe to TU monitoring.  I do and they did this to me today too!  It updates every day so this better not be daily HP!

I do and wondered if it was that. My wife does not though. Only thing she's subscribed to is Credit Ssmae.

I think Credit Sesame. It's the only thing my wife is signed up with. I'm signed up on it also. I did do a search after I posted earlier and did find something in the past where CK had a goof.

You may be right.  I got the alert from Credit Sesame.  I have not logged in on their site for months, though, but maybe they are running an inquiry for their monthly update?  Such a PITA if we have to chase this down.  Probablby one for my spouse too.

something going on with TU inq's. Everybodyis having several inq's showing up on their tu reports that were not there. This is probably what it is and hopefully will be fixed soon.

All the report services (CK, Credit Sesame, WalletHub, TU monitoring, etc) have to do a pull but it's a bug if it ain't coded as soft.  Credit Sesame is the only one I haven't checked recently so that may well be it.

I received an alert yesterday from my creditsesame monitoring that I had an inquiry made on my TU report,  but I hadn't applied for anything. No alerts on my fico however.
