Re: What's up with TU?

Glad I'm still with Eq then.  Tried clicking on the link and the web certificate is expired.  EQ should try to bring their accounts back in house that's ridiculous.  I would never enter a site that requires ssn info with an expired cert.

Yep. Be VERY thankful you do not have to deal with them.

I sure wish I had an answer for this as well. In my case, Experian seems to get pulled more often than the other 2.

Re: What's up with TU?

If you are in a CSC state, my advice is the tactic a lot of people use for online disputes. Give the EQ website a Zip Code from a non-CSC state. Apparently doesn't matter what Zip Code you feed it. [Really tight security feature there EQ]. Then dispute online.

I would assume EQ just forwards your dispute onto CSC anyway right?

Re: What's up with TU?

For online disputes, not sure. I know for written disputes, if you send it to EQ they forward your letter to CSC. But a number of CIC posters do this and say they get better response when they try to send their disputes directly to EQ and bypass CSC.

Just as the CRAs have a special handling department for consumers who are a particularly annoying PITA, I wonder whether EQ has a special handling department for those who try to bypass CSC.
