What to do next..."In Dispute" since Sept. and still not verified

I had 2 "old" 30 day lates from Wells Fargo Financial from 2003. I have been disputing anything and everything and somehow lost track of these two. I disputed online in September. I just realized that my reports still read "in dispute" and there has been no verification. Should I send a letter to the CRA demanding that they remove these items since they have not verified within the 30 days or should I leave it alone since they are old and I risk the chance of the entire closed account being wiped out and possibly causing a drop in my score?

I am by no means a pro, but I would call. I have had a LOT of recent success lately using paper disputes and calls. Also, if they delete the whole acct., you can have put back. Hope this helps some.

I had a similiar situation, the trade line on the report says  "in dispute"   I've found with some of the CRA's especially Experian,  you have to go to the dispute section to get to the meat of your credit report and in there I found  "verified".     Some like TransUnion are a little less hidden but I still always go to the dispute section on all three.   I suggest you start there.
