Re: What website is the best!?

You can get your Experian Fico-8 score from Discover for free even if you don't have one of their cards. They actually give you a pretty good report overall, but it only updates every 30 days.

To keep up to date with my fico score?  Right now I'm enroll in myFICO but I think its a little over price...

Best is always highly subjective, regardless of topic.  You need to be very specific about your requirements.  We know that price is concern for you.  What about scoring model(s)?  FICO doesn't have just one model.  Are you only interested in FICO 8 or are you looking for additional FICO models?  Are you looking for regular updates or is relying on triggered updates (not all changes with a scoring impact are triggers for myFICO) acceptable?

Don't overlook existing discussions as a resource.  Creditor monitoring services are a very common topic.  Credit Check Total is a popular option because many have been been able to get reduced pricing when cancelling during the trial period.  CCT provides only FICO 8's.  EX is updated daily but the others are updated less often.

There are also creditors that provide FICO's with their products like Discover metioned above.  I don't use any of the services aside from one time purchases from myFICO as needed which is rare for me.  However, I do get FICO's from various creditors.  Again, make sure you're considering the specific scoring model and the relevance of a given model/CRA combo to a given creditor/product.  Do not just assume that all FICO's (or all scoring models whether FICO or not) are equivalent.

What are you specifically looking to accomplish?  If you're wanting to track your progress then you need to focus on your report data versus just obsessing over the numbers.  You need to have an understanding of how the data in your reports affects your scores as well as the actions you take.   Any scoring model uses the data in a report to generate a number.  While they evaluate report data differently, good reports will lead to good scores.

Equifax does not give a true FICO score.

Depends on the product purchased.  Additionally, one cannot simply rely on "true" and needs to consider the specific model.  FICO doesn't have just one model used by creditors.
