When accounts report to CA's?

I know this may be a dumb question, but when exactly do the credit card companies report the next months data to the CA's?

Does it matter when the bills are due?  For example, I have an account that I pay middle of the month, and two that are at the end. Does that make a difference one when they report?

I pulled my eq and tu on the 4th, and I only saw January's balances, but not the updated once I made from making payments before the end of the month.

Kind of looking on when to expect them to post.

Thanks for any help...

Hi Kevin,

Most cards report on the statement date but some report at the end of the month. It just depends on what kind of card you have. You can always contact the companies and ask them when they report.

Yes, the moderator is correct.  Basically, different strokes for different folks ummm well, Credit Card companies Smiley Happy

Knowing "when" accounts post, really helps when you're ready to make a big ticket purchase so that you can better plan to have your accounts at low to zero balances a month or two ahead of time.

You can also perform a quick search in the search field (below the Community tab) in order to find similar, recent postings that may list your particular credit card company to save a phone call.
