Byrdman, I wish I could say the same.
Someone pass me some of that deletion dust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I totally understand your pain, when we spend the time trying to correct all the incorrect info, the 3 CRAs should do their jobs. The 3 CRAs are Businesses! They are paid by other businesses to keep all of this credit info correct and to report it correctly.Unfortunately, I think there are quite a few employees working for the CRAs who are only there to work their 8 hours, get a paycheck, and go home. How dare we request they actually work during those 8 hours to make sure our reports are accurate! With my dealings with all 3 CRAs, I have talked with approx. 12 CSRs, only 1 was helpful to me.
All 3 CRAs just keep verifying my info too! I think they look at the CR to see if the info is there, it is, so they hit the verified button on me.
Sure would like them to use the delete button on me sometimes.
I
Anyone know a name of a CSR at BofA. I will then have a FICO forum member call the 3 CRA's using the CSR's name and tell them its okay to delete Marty's BofA account. I will then sue BofA for allowing someone to gain access to my account information to use it to affect my credit.
Any volunteers. I will recprocate. Strangers on a Credit Train if you will.
I seem to have little trouble getting good accounts removed from CRA's. All I need to do is send in a fax that says DISPUTE and DO NOT DELETE. Poof their gone!
Removing neg data, that's a different story. CSRs seem understand requests to delete neg data. Dunno, you could always try writing DO NOT DELETE. It's almost daring them to do it. Honestly I only wrote it so they would not delete it. They don't seem to read it anyway.
I found that there is strategy when submitting a dispute. I learned it maybe helpful to place the dispute on the same day your CR us updated. So if they update at 10:00am you would want to dispute any time after 10:01am the same day or night. Even if you do it hours later, no difference. Just not more than 3 days later. The closer to the last reported day is best but not before it updates on your CR. This is not breaking any rules or misleading anyone. Choosing the day to place a dispute is all I am stating. Even 3 days later is pushing it. Try to do it on the same day it was updated.
